Welcome to Peniel Community Church! We praise God of Immanuel who is always present with us and is leading our lives. We pray that the grace and peace of the Lord be with everyone who visits our Peniel Church and our website.
Peniel Community Church started from the New York Immanuel Community Church (http://immanueli.org) with multicultural mission strategy to find truth in the midst of today’s secularized city, to preach the Word of Jesus Christ and His life to those who yearn for the Kingdom of God and to carry the great commission of proclaim the gospel to advance the Kingdom of God.
Peniel Community Church desires to proclaim Jesus Christ who redeemed our sin by lowering Himself and even dying on the cross and bring people back to the Lord and free those who are suffering in this world where truth has faded its light.

Membership
Understanding that Christ “loved the church and gave himself up for her” (Ephesians 5:25), Gratia retains formal membership. We acknowledge formal membership as an important step in demonstrating our commitment to Jesus Christ.
All believers are members of the body of Christ and local church membership is the public acknowledgment of this spiritual reality. As followers of Christ, we are all “members of the household of God” (Ephesians 2:19), and it is our duty to play our roles as a member of His body. We become one healthy body when each member does its part well (1 Corinthians 12:20).
Peniel Community Church holds its members in high regard—they are expected to proclaim and reveal the gospel in anywhere their life happens. In a multi-cultural city, God, in his sovereignty, placed us among these people with a purpose. We pray to be faithful managers of the House of God.
